ALDO

END OF SINGLE USE SHOPPING BAG INSTALLATION

NEW YORK CITY

In summer 2019, ALDO Shoes made the conscious decision to address a huge waste issue that exists in global fashion – single-use shopping bags. To showcase the impact of removing their single-use shopping bags, we utilized ALDO’s Broadway location in New York City to install communication highlighting the amount of trees saved from this simple adjustment.

This project was delivered on a 4-week turnaround with Leeftail managing all aspects of ideation, installation and collaboration with greenery partner, Plant The Future.


APEROL

SPRITZ BLITZ INFLUENCER SAMPLING PROGRAM

TORONTO, CALGARY, WHISTLER, VANCOUVER, MONTREAL

For two consecutive summers, we managed a liquid-to-lips sampling program for Aperol and their globally recognized Aperol Spritz cocktail. Instead of a typical sampling, Aperol wanted to add a social element to the program while ensuring an authentic and positive experience for consumers.

Leeftail ideated the “Spritz Blitz” concept where we would blitz patio events with a round of Aperol Spritz. We invited social media personalities with influential localized followings to attend key Aperol patios so they could enjoy a Spritz and share their Spritz Blitz experience on Instagram. 

The program garnered product trials, along with increased sales and brand awareness.


BRIXTON

BRIXTON GREEN ROOM

Brixton teamed up with the legendary Arts & Crafts record label during Canadian Music Week for a special product seeding event at the Leeftail showroom in Toronto. Over 250 key musicians and influencers attended the Brixton Green Room and were gifted pieces from Brixton’s collections.

Leeftail was responsible for managing and executing the event, negotiating partnerships with Arts & Crafts and inviting key guests from both the music and fashion industries. 


CAMPARI

NEGRONI WEEK HUB

To support the global celebration of Negroni Week, Campari tasked us with creating a branded experience within an existing restaurant to extend reach while managing some budget constraints. 

The result saw Leeftail orchestrate a partnership with Superpoint Pizza allowing for 7 days of brand presence within the restaurant, including daily specials, sales-based donations and custom brand experiences like Negroni Masterclasses and bartender hosted parties.

Leeftail managed the project in its entirety, leveraged key agency partnerships, sourced and fabricated custom signage and developed programming schedules.  


DNA GENETICS

‘DAY ONE’ OF CANNABIS LEGALIZATION

VANCOUVER

‘Day One’ of cannabis legalization in Canada was a big deal to say the least. DNA Genetics, The Most Awarded Cannabis Brand, wanted to celebrate with a momentous occasion. So we took over Fortune Soundclub in Vancouver to host a sold-out, invite-only performance by legendary cannabis activists, Cypress Hill.

Leeftail was responsible for managing and executing the event. We collaborated with DNA’s design agency to fabricate custom signage and decor, then sourced and partnered with local vendors to take the event to the next level. Despite tight turnaround times and unique challenges due to the infancy of the industry, this event was successfully executed in under 3 weeks from start to finish.


FORIA

‘OWN YOUR PLEASURE’ FEMALE SEXUALITY EVENT

TORONTO

Foria is a THC infused sexual lubricant for women. During the start of legalization in Canada, Foria wanted to throw a small, intimate gathering of women to celebrate all things female. Hosted in an eclectic mansion, we transformed the space into an exploratory journey of female sexuality. The event consisted of living room discussions, empowerment photoshoots, indulgent foods and beverages and more, encouraging attendees to own their desires and curiosities.

Leeftail was responsible for managing and executing the event, as well as sourcing custom signage and components for all décor and activations.


GREAT GARDENER FARMS

LIFT & CO CANNABIS CONVENTION TRADESHOW BOOTH

VANCOUVER

Great Gardener Farms had their public debut at the Lift & Co Cannabis Convention in their hometown of Vancouver, BC. To introduce them to the market and their consumers while properly representing their brand values, we turned their 10x20 booth into a branded barn showcasing their packaging, their brand messaging and most importantly, their awards.

Leeftail was responsible for managing the build of custom signage and working with vendors and suppliers for all components, as well as coordinating the execution with the convention centre.


HEY Y’ALL

LIFESTYLE MARKETING PROGRAM

ONTARIO

Since the brand’s introduction to the Ontario market in 2017, Leeftail has helped Hey Y’all with key guerilla marketing support. Hey Y’all has a cult following originating from BC, so when the brand launched in Ontario, they wanted to target a similar fan base in this market. Together, we designed a Lifestyle Marketing Rep program in the Ontario market that includes sourcing and fulfilling all sponsorships, partnerships, sampling events and influencer seeding.

Focusing heavily on our ability to infiltrate key subcultures targeted by the brand, Leeftail was responsible for program ideation, hiring and managing personnel, managing annual budgets, asset and inventory management and sales support when required.


LBS CANNABIS

KWEST KODEC ART SHOW

TORONTO

LBS Cannabis partnered with legendary Toronto street artist Kwest to produce a sculpture show of his artwork. The event was executed during Caribana and OVO weekend to reinforce the brand’s support of urban culture. The 4-day art show in a never-before-used venue saw notable names come through the event to check out the artwork. 

Leeftail was responsible for overall project and site management, managing budgets, decor and signage fabrication, logistics and ongoing event management.


LONE TREE

TORONTO CIDERFEST ACTIVATION

TORONTO

Lonetree, the #1 Canadian made Cider, attends Toronto Ciderfest each year. The brand routinely takes home the Consumer Choice Award at the festival (8 out 9 awards in the past 3 years) due to its balanced flavour, approachable brand and knowledgeable staff.

Leeftail was responsible for activation execution, site management, staffing, budget management, decor and signage fabrication, logistics and ongoing event management.


PABST BLUE RIBBON

PBR ART CAN CAMPAIGN

NATIONAL CAMPAIGN

A key pillar for Pabst Blue Ribbon is supporting artists, as shown in their annual PBR Art Can campaign where they turn their label over to independent artists. This campaign showcased a Husband-Wife duo, Bruno Smokey & Shalak, letting them take their traditional graffiti street art and apply it to a tall can of beer. The campaign saw over 4.3 million cans produced, 700 thousand digital impressions and over 1,200 physical distribution points.

In our 3 years managing the program, Leeftail was responsible for sourcing the artists, negotiating the terms with the artists, developing the content to support the program and liaising between the brand and the artist to ensure the needs of both sides are met. 


RED BULL

RBMF MEDIA LAUNCH EVENT

Red Bull called upon Leeftail to help produce an intimate media launch event for their 2019 Red Bull Music Festival, which took place at their 381 Projects office. 

Leeftail was responsible for producing the required elements as well as designing the implementation of other decor elements. Leeftail gladly offered integral capacity support during a time when the brand resources were stretched thin due to the festival programming.


SAPPORO

‘ALL DAY I DREAM’ FESTIVAL ACTIVATION

Sapporo’s support of electronic music festivals is no surprise. From Igloofest, to Electric Island, to Lee Burridge’s All Day I Dream, Sapporo has been a consistent presence during festival moments amongst friends. For All Day I Dream, Leeftail produced a raised Photo Booth platform offering a unique backdrop.

Leeftail was responsible for ideating, sourcing and negotiating the activation with the festival. We also handled staffing and developed a highly successful consumer giveaway - a collaborative necklace between Sapporo x Vitaly Design.


SNEAKY WEASEL

Sneaky Weasel is a craft lager from Western Canada that has launched in Ontario. Leeftail assisted them with brand awareness, product sampling, event sponsorships and merchandise design. We also placed Sneaky Weasel in influential hands, venues and events connected to independent music, art, skateboarding, tattooing and key sub culture activities that reflect the brand. 

Leeftail was responsible for program ideation, budget management, asset resourcing, inventory management and content development.


WILD TURKEY

Nothing is more fitting for Wild Turkey Bourbon than a Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner to support some of its top accounts. Complete with a delicious thanksgiving dinner, eclectic bourbon cocktail bar, social activities and a DJ playing vinyl classics, the Wild Turkey Thanksgiving Dinner was an intimate experience and a valuable opportunity to reinforce the brand’s positioning and collect strong social content.
